Ocean Group is a private investment and venture capital organization founded in 2005.
The company seeks to make direct investments in high growth sectors through the start up and creation of new businesses. The company will take a hands on approach and focus to determining and executing the right strategy, financing structure and management to maximize shareholder value.
Equally the company will seek to buy existing undervalued companies or assets, and look to restructure them unlocking value, establishing profitable and sustainable companies. It believes in a long term, value creation approach to investment.
Before the formation of Ocean Group it founders were involved in the creation of Ocean Airlines, a cargo airline based out of Montichiari Airport in Italy, which flew 747-200 series aircraft from Italy’s industrial hub of Bresica to Asia, Africa and the US.
In 2005 Ocean Sky was formed on the basis of Aircraft Zone, a respected charter brokerage company, it added an operations division, an AOC and financed the acquisition of its own aircraft. It now manages a substantial fleet of its own and clients’ aircraft, owns maintenance facilities and executive passenger terminals. The company has quickly grown into one of the largest private jet companies in Europe.
In 2006 Kronos Capital was formed as an investment platform to create a transparent western vehicle for investments into Russia, using its superior local knowledge to become a preferred investment partner in real estate, mining and other businesses.
Natural Farming was formed in 2008 through the consolidation of several existing farming businesses. OG understood the global macro-economic factors underlining the agricultural sector and also was able to buy bankrupt and undervalued agricultural assets.
In 2009 Kronos SA was formed in Geneva on the basis of a leading fiduciary services and corporate finance company.
